Have been diagnosis tendanitis 5 years ago, could this cause chest and shoulder pain?

Thank you for that information as I did want to rule out a nerve related pain issue. This can be caused from chest wall pain in which the chest walls become compromised just like it does when you pull the muscles in your chest cavitities. This could yes also be from your tendonitis with this going into your shoulder but in most cases if not cardiac or nerve related your chest wall or shoulder muscles and tendons can cause this type of pain so continue to use the Advil and the heating pad but if this is not any better by tomorrow you may need to be seen for a stronger pain and anti-inflammatory medication.
