Hello Customer (name blocked for privacy),

Per the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention:

"A single dose of azithromycin [1 gm] or a week of doxycycline [100 mg] (twice daily) are the most commonly used treatments [for chlamydial infections]."

Other acceptable antibiotics include:

Erythromycin 500 mg 4 times day x 7 days and Levaquin 500 mg once a day x 7 days.

Penicillin is NOT considered an effective treatment for chlamydial infection. Sorry.

Good luck.
