is it possible to miss chylmidia in a pap smear?

i had a pap in October 2005 and was fine then had a baby in May of 2006, i have been with one man since then and it showed up in a culture that I have chylmidia in March of 2007????

Yes it is definitely possible for you to have Chlamydia and have it not show up on a pap smear. AT LEAST 10% of the time when Chlamydia is present it will not be found!
