If you had no white cells or bacteria in your urine and cultures were negative, then your discomfort may be due to something you ate or drank. Many components of spices and food colorings are excreted in the urine and could potentially irritate the bladder and urethra. Chlamydia is also a common cause of urethritis and may not show up on urinalysis or routine culture. I hope that this was helpful.

PLEASE COULD YOU TELL ME WHAT IS CHLAMYDIA?
I MADE MANY CHANGES IN MY FOOD AND ARE VERY CAREFULL NOW WITH WHAT I DRINK.
I AVOID SOFT DRINKS, DRINKS WITH COLOR, HOT SAUCES, ETC.
ANYTHING ELSE THAT YOU SUGGEST THAT I COULD DO?

Chlamydia is a bacterium. It is usually a sexually transmitted disease and probably doesn't apply to you. You might try some Advil to see if that helps. Pyridium may help with the symptoms, but can only be taken for a few days and requires a prescription from your doctor. It the problem presists, your doctor may have to do further investigation and possibly refer you to a urologist. I hope that this was helpful.
