numbness of outer fingers in both hands

Lately, my fingers get numb. Doctor say to wear a glove. I am 67 years old. Have no diabitis but high cholesterol which I treat with Lipitor. I also take paxil for depression. My heard is okay but I have asthma. ce I remember my hands shake. When I consulted a neurologist he prescribed neurotin which I take at night. Can you offer me any suggestions? Thanks.

You may need to see an Orthopedic surgeon to find out if you have Carpal tunnel syndrome or you have poor circulation in your arms as a result of atherosclerosis caused by high cholesterol . In the mean time you can take Advil tablet.
