Yes, cosmetic surgery for lower abdomen and lower extremities is done with an epidural. It really depends on your surgeon and anesthesiologist. They will have their preference and experience with what works best for them. And they will take your physical health and history into consideration as well as the type of surgical procedures you are having. But it is done this way with satisfactory results.
