It's possible you may just have the flu... Which will just have to take it's course.. I'm glad you are aware of your symptoms though that helps a great deal.. Are you drinking plenty of fluids which can cause cramping/headache. If the migraine is still there, you may want to be checked out in the ER just to be on the safe side.. they can check your blood there etc.. and can give you something to treat the migraine as well. If you are vomiting that can cause your muscles to become tense and then possible cramp as well so it does seem more like the flu.. But I'm not there to evaluate you.. so if you do feel really bad then you may want to be checked out..

Hope this helps, If you need anything else please feel free to ask. If you found this helpful don’t forget to click the *accept* button!

Dear Rick & Darlene,

Maybe I can help here. Among the symptoms vomiting can be easily explained on the basis of Migraine. The fact that you have had recurrent vomits can explain the rib pains, while moderate dehydration and electrolyte abnormalities can be also result from vomiting.

Dehydration and electrolyte (salt) disturbances can lead to generalized muscle spasms.

So in short once you take adequate fluids, Oral Rehydration Solutions and fruit juices (potassium in juices is good for preventing and treating spasms), along with your regular migraine medicines you ought to be on the way to recovery. If you are vomiting taking strong pain killers may cause further gastritis, hence TYLENOL would be preferable.

Also just as an addition, if Darlene has regular attacks of MIgraine, do discuss the need of prophylactic medicines (like propanolol etc.) with your physician,

Please remember to accept the reply if you find it useful. A BONUS and a positive rating would be duly appreciated,
regards
