I have suffered with the runs and sometimes throwing up for about 22 days now. The only thing that was suggested to me was the frog that i caught may have given me a form of saminilla. My doctor prescribed Cipro for a week but it did not help. The blood test shows my white count is up so there is something going on. Could it be caused from a form of saminilla that would cause my white count to go up or should I insist that the doctor run more tests than just blood and stool cultures?

Optional Information:
Female , Age: 34

Already Tried:
the brat diet and cipro for antibiotics

Reply to Mia's Post: I have got the test results back and things were negative. The doctor took more blood for more tests. I have had a colonoscopy with normal findings of healthy tissues, no polops or hemriods detected. I do get cramping with the diahrea as well as a lot of gas and that's when I throw up is with the pain. The doctor listened to my belly and pressed on it. He asked if I had surgeory before and I had my appendix out years ago. There was some pain on both sides of my pelvic area, an inch and a half or so down fom my belly button, when pressed on. My dads side of the family has been diagnosed with diverticulitis. Sometimes I feel like I've got something stuck in my throat, headaches too. My blood pressure was up at 154/101 at my appointment today. Thanks for time.
