I am experiencing severe hand cramps & tingling while sleeping. This has occurred 3 nights within the last two weeks. I know that I am not diabetic, and do not have carpal tunnel disease. I had a urine test about 6 months ago and the doctor noted that my potassium and ketone levels were not within a normal range. I believe that the potassium was too low, ketones were high. What types of vitamins would you reccomend if any?
I am 5' 9" and weigh 130 #'s. I would say that my activity level swings towards high. I would say that I don not eat regular meals. Also, I do not drink alot of milk and would say my calcium intake would be low.

You need to eat foods high in potassium like bananas and try a multi-vitamin as well with calcium added as this will help with the cramping and tingling you are feeling and the mutil-vitamin can help to add the missing calcium you lack by not drinking milk. Try to eat alot of dairy, try to eat three meals a day, especially breakfast and dinner, and eat some bananas on a regular basis as this will help greatly with the cramping.
