For the last few weeks I've experience vaginal blood after my bowel movements. My stool is usually tan or dark. After my bowel movements I don't experience any blood until my menstrual cycle. What's going on and should I contact my doctor?

Are you noticing blood in the toliet with your BM, or on the tissue when you wipe front and/or back?

Are you also noticing blood on your underwear or pads?

Are you sure that this is vaginal blood and not from rectal problems or hemorriods?

This information will help us help you better. Take Good Care! Nancy

Yes, there's drops of blood(dark red almost brown)in the toilet along with a few small clogs and also when I wipe front to back. Monday I inserted a tampon and it was just like I was having my menstrual cycle. However that seized yesterday.

I don't think I'm having any rectal problems such as hemorriods because I'm not having any pain.
