pelvic pain and cramping
Sent to Health Experts August 26 02:09 PM

I am having multiple symptoms and don't know what kind of doctor I should see, urologist, ob/gyn or my primary care physician. I am a healthy 57 year old woman. My last menstrual period was September 2002. Two weeks ago I began experiencing varying symptoms. I have extreme cramping in my pelvic area which are reminiscent of menstrual cramps. I have been urinating with great frequency (every 1/1/2 to 2 hours). Previously, I would only go several times a day. Sometimes the cramping is accompanied by extreme pelvic pain that sometimes goes down my legs or into my lower back. I couldn't even do a walk on the treadmill today, the pain was so bad. I had a normal PAP in May and a normal physical exam in June. Help! I don't know where to turn.
