I was on the depo Birth Control shot for 7 years. I got off in July of this year...and waitied about a month and now i'm on the pill. I have been bleeding for about a month and a half now. Not heavy but crampy and annoying. Somtimes brown and somtimes red. I dont think the pill is helping any. My doctor just recently changed my pill to ortho cyclen..I really want this bleeding and cramping to end! Maybe i should use the ring or patch or somthing??? Any Ideas???? Any suggestions would be great! Thanks..Michele.

Give Ortho a try for at least 2 full months. Constant switching isn't good either. And no matter what type you choose, it will take your body a couple of months to get use to it. So if it's been less than a month on the Ortho, give it at least two and go from there. In the mean time, do take an iron pill each day and a multi vitamin too. Midol is good for cramping, so try that. But allow your body to get use to Ortho, it's a good BCP, just let your body get use to it before switching..

Best of luck Hun, Hope this helps, If you need anything else please feel free to ask. If you found this helpful don't forget to click the *ACCEPT* button and leave *POSITIVE* feedback.
