I am having cramping and tightness is my lower abdomen; this has gone on for 5 days. I am not due to start my period until next week. I realize this could simply be PMS cramping but I am 26 years old and do not typically have cramping early. I have am having some lower back pain also. I did not want to overlook this just in case....

Hello,

Do you have pain during urination ? Any blood in the urine ?

Do you have any vaginal discharge ?

Did you have any medical problem or surgery in the past? Did you have any STD in the past?

Do you have fever, nausea , vomiting or any other symptoms ?

Light vaginal dicharge but haven't paid attention enough to notice if more than usual
No med probs or surgery; had a baby 9-05 no probs with labor/delivery and no others symptoms.
I have been extremely stressed for a while.

Hello,

You may have gastritis (an inflammation of the stomach lining) or stress related gastrointestinal upset. Gastritis will usually respond to over-the-counter antacids or H2 blockers. Stress related cramps may respond to meditation or a warm bath. Please see a doctor to confirm the diagnosis with an examination.
