Question

I just had my IUD removed 1 1/2 weeks ago ...

Sent to Health Experts October 17, 2006 2:59 p.m.

I just had my IUD removed 1 1/2 weeks ago, 10/5/06. I had no bleeding for the first few days. But I started bleeding last Monday, 10/9/06. I don't know if this period is a result of removing the IUD or if it would have been a normal cycle for me. (I didn't have a period for the 3 years I had the IUD but would experience some cramping each month). I've finally stopped bleeding today--for a total of 8 days. There wasn't anything really abnormal about the time I was bleeding. But I've been feeling very weak and shaky. Today I'm so tired and tried to take a nap but couldn't fall asleep. Are there any foods I could/should be eating to boost my energy and take away the shaky feeling I'm having? Do you think this is normal after having such a long period(--my normal period used to last about 4 days)?
