What would stop nightly leg cramps?

My wife has been a diabetic for 33 years. She has been having leg cramps at night and in her feet, toes, & ankles. Can anything be done to stop this?

This can be caused by a lack of potassium so adding a potassium suppliment can be a big help as well as some potassium rich foods but not so much as to alter or cause any issues with her glucose levels. I do feel also adding an all natural suppliment such as Move-Free that can help add moisture and stability to her joints also can help to lower the cramping while continuing to use deep massage rubs to help with her circulation which is as you know very important to her lower extremities.
