I've been having period problems. It started in January and lasted for the entire month, some days extra heavy. It went away for two weeks and restarted again in the second week into February and has not stopped since. Some days its really heavy (changing superplus tampon every 2-4hrs) to it being regular flow (every 6-8hrs) while passing large clots. I went to my family dr and he said he couldn't really help me but he did labs to check to make sure i wasn't deficient or anything and I'm still waiting for them to come back. I'm light headed, have started to have an itch (mainly legs, arms and back) that keep me awake at night. I'm tired all the time and I'm losing weight. I don't know if I should go to the hospital or just continue to wait for the results so I can see a gyn, or what. This has never happened to me before and I started my period when I was 13, (I am now 22). There is some cramping (mainly lower back) but its not really bad. I need some advice on what I should do. I mean, could a hospital help with this? It's really starting to scare me. Not to mention making me feel really ill. I just want it to stop. Help if you can. Thanks.
