I get severe cramping after orgasm that lasts about 5 min. All my gyn's told me that it was fibroids and they would shrink after menapouse and I wouldn't have the pain. I went through menapause 6 years ago and the pain is worse now that ever. My latest gyn said that even with a hyst. she couldn't guarentee the pain would go away. This is very fustrating. Hello, the pain that you are experiencing during orgasm is probably related to pain during sex or dysparuenia. The most common causes so far is the poor blood circulation or through a blood congestion. Second to that, the experience of pain during intercourse is also felt because of a deficiency of testosterone in the tissues. There are also certain cases when the intercourse pain is due to a testosterone deficiency that is a side effect of taking the birth control pill. This pill can hide and take over the ovarian function and incapacitated the testosterone producers of the female body. Deficiency in testosterone makes the vaginal lining become inflexible and quite rigid. This is the explanation of some specialists and there can be other causes like endometriosis, menopause, uterine fibroids, Cysts in the ovaries, pelvic inflammatory disease are the important ones.
