I have sever cramping in my right side at waist level. It has been there for several days and does not feel like it is getting better. It hurts every time I use my abs, and it also just hurts all the time. I am 20 years old, male and I feel pathetic. Any information would be great.

Optional Information:
Male, Age: 20, Canada

Reply to Dr. Arun Phophalia's Post: I do not have any history of trauma, or sports incidents, however I have been backpacking through western Europe (Brussels, Amsterdam and Paris), and my backpack is pretty heavy. I cannot think of anytime when I hurt myself though. Is there any chance that It could be food poisoning? Perhaps water poisoning? I did throw up the first day... What are the symptoms for appendix problems?

thanks a lot
