Latrice,

It's possible that what you are experiencing is implantation bleeding, which is quite normal. Implantation bleeding occurs a bit earlier than expected, and it is scanty, spotty, pinkish and not red and heavy like a period, and does not follow the normal pattern of a period (light to heavy to light). If however you experience heavy cramping and bleeding, this is something you need to see a doctor about immediately.

Latrice,

If your last regular period was 10/12, this means that you would currently be about 5 weeks pregnant. As your levels are this low, it's possible that a viable pregnancy did not occur, but it could be the dates are off. You will need to wait and see what your next level shows. If it has not increased dramatically, then it's possible that a viable pregnancy did not occur.

Latrice,

Signs of a miscarriage include vaginal bleeding, abdominal, lower back, or pelvic pain, or passing of tissue from the vagina. Bleeding may be light or heavy, constant or irregular. When bleeding is accompanied by pain, the likelihood of miscarriage is high. If your bleeding becomes heavy along with severe cramping, you need to see a doctor immediately. At this point it's possible that pregnancy did not occur, but in order to know for sure additional testing needs to be done.

Latrice,

What I listed above are the signs of a miscarriage, and if this does occur then you need to see a doctor immediately. You will need to wait and see what your next blood test reveals. It could be that pregnancy did not occur. In this case your doctor would need to do further testing to determine what exactly is occuring.
