I have had dental pain for 2 months. I went to get deep cleaning and scaling done. Yes I have mod. to severe Periodontal disease. However the x-rays don't show any reason for the pain it doesn't show an absess. Could this be wwwhat they are calling a flare up that will eventually go away. I am determoned to now go for a cleaning every 3 months to try to control this diease. But perhaps the teeth that are hurint will have to go. I can tell the general area but not for sure what tooth it is. I have used their mouthwash, got a Rotodent toothbrush and am usinf a percribed flourise mouthwash once a week. I do have 5 small cavity's and haven't got them filled yet. Could this be causing the pain? I forgot the last time I was at the dentist to ask where the cavity's are. Thank you.
