I am male 59 and I am suffering from excess saliva which seems to be produced just behind my front upper teeth. This has been ongoing for a year and is very uncomfrotable. My GP has referred me to a number of consultants who have carried out many tests without finding the problem. These include ENT, oral, reflux and neurology consultants. I have had an MRI, mouth x-ray facial scan, loads of blood tests, accupuncture and homepathy without success. I have even been hypnotised. I have been given travel sickness tablets, amotriptoline and others which have the side effect of drying the mouth but nothing has made any difference. I take Lansaprazole and lipitor. Can you help?
