I'm 34 years old and just had my upper left wisdom
Sent to Health Experts July 09 01:44 AM

I just had my upper left wisdom tooth removed 6 days ago. I had the upper right one extracted with no incident about a month ago (it was extremely decayed). When he just extracted the left one he suggested I come back in about 3 weeks due to a chip on the tooth next to the wisdom tooth. About ten years ago the chipped tooth was drilled pretty much to nothing and filled in with a regular filling. This new extraction has been extremely painful! When I was rinsing to get oatmeal particles out of my gums,i ran my tongue over the hole which is still gaping (the first one's gums filled in by now). Anyway, I felt what seemed to be an edge along the outside hole left from the tooth. I am wondering, is it possible not to get the entire tooth or could this be filling from the other tooth that is remaining covering the edge?Should I revisit my dentist,he just prescribed 500mg of Amoxicillin 3 days ago but there is still occaisional bleeding and the outside of the gums are swollen.Any advice?
