Is there any correlation between stress and diabetic neuropothy?

I have diabetic neuropothy. It seems to "flair-up" more when I am stressed out. Is there a correlation between stress and neuropothy?

I have found no correlation between stress and diabetic neuropathy. You may just be able to feel it more when you are stressed than when not. In most cases, the stress and sometimes depression will follow a flare up of this condition. I have added a link for detailed information about diabetic neuropathy:
