Anxiety with Depression

What is the best medicine to treat this? My faimly doctor say Cymbalta however not sure this will treat the anxiety? Also, is there one I can drink a beer or have a glass of wine with?

Hi:

Cymbalta is a new drug. It may relieve anxiety too. There seems to be no interaction between alcohol and cymbalta. You can have a beer to relieve anxiety. However, you should mention it to your doctor, also drink as less as possible.

Is there a better choice other than cymbalta to relieve both symtoms?

I would agree with your doctor to start with cymbalta. It is a relative new drug, and it is suggested that it is very effective.
