my girlfriend has just been diagnosed with diabetes, and has begun taking insulin shots. she has complained that her vision is worsening. i instructed her to see a physician immediately, but she insists on "waiting until her insurance takes effect". she does have an appointment with an eye doctor on thursday, but i would like to know if she should simply "wait for the insurance" and the eye doctor appointment on thursday, or if she should put herself in an ambulance and get to a hospital. thank you.
