Diamaxol is an unregulated dietary supplement with no well-controlled studies showing any effect on diabetes. It isn't prescribed as a drug in the United States. Since it is over-the-counter, and available online, anyone can purcase it. Using prescription medications whose efficacy, safety, and purity are regulated would be a lot cheaper to control your diabetes.
