Question concerning tremors in right hand/arm

Sent to Health Experts May 09, 2006 2:28 p.m.

I am a 63-year-old type 2 diabetic with neuropathy treated with Lyrica. I am also hypothyroid on treatment. I take Avandia to aid with my diabetes and have my blood sugar under fair to good control. I was diagnosed 3 years ago with familial tremors on the right side, upper extremity, treated with 120 mg of Inderal per day. Recently I have begun to notice that I am having more episodes of tremors on my right side in the upper extremity. Is this possibly a signal by my body that I am in need of a larger dose of Inderal or possibly the onset of something more sinister? I am due to see my doctor's PA on 5/19 and will certainly discuss this with him at that time. I am also having more and more episodes of being unable to remember words that I use often in my business as a secretary, or other words that I am very familiar with. Do I need to be concerned about all of this? Help me please understand what is happening with me.
