I have severe pain in my left foot that started after spending three weeks of intensive work running a three week mini camp, planning a graduation party for my son with much work to do after hours of long days at camp.   One day at camp I wore Birkinstock massage sandles all day. they do have a hard surface with plastic nubbies on the sole of the sandle. I also have a connective tissue disease that flares up occassionally. The tissue around my ankle swells from one side to the other slightly but I have alot of pain and burning aroundwhen I touch it, as well as pain in the arch of my foot and along the outside of my left foot.. It was suggested that I might have dibetes, however a friend of mind who has diabetes tested my blood after eating a sandwich and it was at 78. which I beleive is normal. Any suggestions? O, I also tried Epson and Salts, it did not help.

I have used steroids, which I violently react to. I have tried tylonel for arthrisis and chinese herbs for my condition along with accupuncture.
