For diabetes you really need to eat a sensible balanced diet. There is a misconception that there are "good" and "bad" foods out there - and that it is OK to eat unlimited amounts of the good foods as long as you avoid the "bad" ones.
For the coumadin - there are concerns with eating large amounts of foods high in vitamin K. Some people are told NOT to eat these items. This also is a fallacy - since the problem isn't how much you eat - but the fact that your intake of foods high in Vitamin K needs to be STABLE. You don't want to go on a spinach diet one week, and then none the next week.
