What causes excessive burping? Stomach always feels bloated. Wheb I get up in the morning have a cup of coffee and then the burping starts. This goes on all day.
Tums help for a little while.

The caffeine in the coffee stimulates gastric motility. Gas already in the stomach may be squeezed into the esophagus and regurgitated — so you burp.

If you have residual gas after a night of no solid or liquid intake, I am concerned.

Every imaginable test has been run with no results.
