Numbness and tingling in arms and hands when I try to sleep.

I get tingling and numbness in my arms and hands at night while I am trying to sleep. Everytime I change positions in bed the tingling and numbness wakes me up.

Hello,

Some of the possible causes of this problem are as below :

  • carpal tunnel syndrome
  • pinched nerve in the neck
  • diabetes or vitamin B 12 deficiency.
  • hypothroidism
  • alcohol or tobacco use
