i am on blood pressure medicine and have been for several years i weight 250 lbs and am 5' 5 i went to my family doctor about 4 months ago he seemed to feel it was my sugar however he did not do a glucose blood test on my as he stated that they only do 3 hour glucose tests on pregnant women i have been having these problems for quite some time

YES MY FASTING SUGAR WAS CHECKED BUT MY SYMPTOMS SEEM TO BE AFTER I EAT NOT BEFORE I EAT AND YES HEART DISEASE DOES RUN IN THE FAMILY

Hello,

Based on your history still the possibility of Post Parandial (reactive)Hypoglycemia is there but asince you have a positive family history of heart disease i would advise EKG and Holter monitoring to rule out tachycardia . Since palpitation can be caused due to tachycardia .
