Hi

The normal range of creatinine level is 0.5 -1.1mg/dl.Females have slightly lower creatinine than males.

On its own, a single creatinine level does not really give us much useful information. Other tests including urine examination for biochemistry and microbiological content, X-rays or scans will access function of kidneys.

But as you have high creatinine levels , so definately it indicates the poor functioning of kidneys.

Diabetes is one of a factor for renal dysfunction,as it cause Damage to the nephrons from unused glucose in the blood .

Other factors are Herediatary , high blood pressure.

So, get other blood work done soon.
