I have a constant noise in my right ear that sounds like my heartbeat, my blood pressure is around 120/80, could this be a sinus problem? Any medication to help this?

Hello,

You may have narrowing or stenosis of your right carotid artery since the noise in your right ear sounds like heartbeat. An Ultrasound of the Carotid arteries or a Cerebral angiogram can show it. I suggest to you to see a doctor for an evaluation and testing. Other causes of the noise in the ear such as otosclerosis (stiffening of the middle ear bones ), wax in the ear canal, some medications such as Aspirin , diabetes etc. also may need to be ruled out.
