I have been having problems with my left foot tingling. It never stops. it feels like my leg and foot are constantly trying to go to sleep. I feel like its not getting good circulation or something. it bothers me becuase when it comes time to go to sleep its like i cant stop twitching it. am i crazy to think it could be a nerve or blood clot or something bad?

Hello,
Your symptoms are consistant with mild peripheral neuropathy. And the most common cause of this is diabetes. After diabetes, nutritional deficiency is the most common cause of this. Also diabetes has to be present for several years and poorly controlled to cause this. It does not seem you are diabetic, so most likely cause in your case is nutritional deficiency, specifically Vitamin B12 deficiency. Another possibility is a pinched nerve probably triggered by any particular posture.

I recommend that you tka daily multivitamins including calcium. If the symptoms persist beyond 2-3 weeks after this, you should see a doctor for some routine blood tests and to check reflexes and sensations in the feet.
