this medicine shouldnt cause bleeding. there is a higher incidence of erectile dysfunction in diabetics due to the effects on the arteries and nerves. the bleeding from the urethra in males can be due to prostate or urinary/blasdder problems, which diabetics are at more risk for. he needs to see a urologist for an eval. if he has no other prostate issues (frequency, hesitancy or urgency with urination) then bladder polyps and cancer need to be ruled out first and foremost. you can stress the urgency of the latter with your husband and hopefully this will enough to convinvce him.
