My father is a 64 year old white male with diabetes and high blood pressure. he takes pills, not insulin, to control his diabetes and checks his blood pressure daily. I saw him earlier today and he felt fine. My mother just informed me that he doesn't feel well now,and they checked his blood pressure twice and it is low. he said he was not being able to have a regular bowel movement, either. he went to bed, but I don't know if that is a good idea. Is it safe for him to sleep or stay up and keep monitering his condition? I would like him to go to the hospital, but that is not my decision. Any help?
