Hi,

Peppermint can cause digestive problems, particularly in people with gallstones.
The oil sometimes provokes a mild allergic reaction. Do not apply preparations containing Peppermint oil to the faces--particularly the nasal area--of infants or small children; it could cause asthma-like symptoms or even respiratory failure.

No other side effects.

No drug interactions have been reported.

Hi,

I wanted to give all the available information about the smell freh. The only limitation is that it can cause digestive problem if you have gallstones and if you take smell freh. It is hard to say because smell freh and body mint they both have best stuff in them.

Hi,
The smell freh boost the flow of the bile and this effect is not desirable if bile duct is blocked by a gallstone. Otherwise smell freh is good for liver, gallbladder and digestion.I didn't read anything about of these herbs being addictive in the physician desk referance book.
