My daughter is 32 years old. She has been complaining of pain under the breast and a bloated feeling with a nausea sensation. Also she has alot of pain in both legs. She is overweight but exercises and can't seem to loose the weight. She has had a thyroid test and they say hers is normal . Also she is tired all the time and can't seem to get enough sleep. I am worried about her, I've had hypothyroidism for about 20 years I still feel like that could be her problem. What can you tell me to convience her to see the doctor again.

It can be frustrating when tests are giving you no answers or any relief at all, and many people end up not wanting to go to the doctor, feeling that it will turn out the same. Usually, though this can be solved by seeking out a different type of physician. If your daughter is having pains under her breast, and bloating accompanied by nausea, I would seek out an Gastrointologist. A Gastrointologist may be able to help her better than your family doctor. By just letting your daughter know that you care about her well being, and that she does not have to suffer with these symptoms and not to give up quite yet. Will let her know that you care and are concerned but feel there are answers out there that the previous doctor(s) missed. It can be difficult to pinpoint diagnosis, but with her symptoms a Gastrointologist, would be able to rule out any digestive disorders, and advise her on the right path to feeling better, and beating her symptoms. I hope this helps, and if you need assistance locating a Gastrointologist in your area, I'll be happy to assist. If you found this helpful, please click the accept button.
