If your son's vomiting has continue to be severe and he has been unable to hold anything down -- he is in danger of dehydration.
What is more, the presence of headache indicates that the cause could be something serious -- for example, spinal meningitis.
For these reasons, I believe taking your son to the hospital (ER) for examination would be warranted.
