Hello. I am A 40 yr old man just got back from the midwest ...

Hello. I am A 40 yr old man just got back from the midwest roughly 24hrs later I started having stomach cramps and diarea than leading into fever for about two days.Today is day for and the cramping has not lead up at all or the diarea, there have been signs of blood in the bowl flooting and looks like attached to food granulas at the bottom.I've also   
been very week,what do you think. ps thank you

Greetings;

Sorry to hear of your illness, but it sounds as though you picked up a nasty intestinal virus or bacteria from the description of your symptoms. Blood in the stool can be caused by the irritation of the intestinal walls, and since there are food ganuals present, your system is not digesting food properly yet.

A trip to your local doctor is in order because a bacteria in the intestines can be treated with antibiotics. A virus has to run it's course yet there may be medication that can ease symptoms for you. Only a hands on examination by a qualified doctor can reveal exactly what is going on and what the best course of treatment would be for you.
