Ok, now that you mention the colonoscopy that will indeed change things. You may very well have bleeding hemmorhoids. But the back pain associated with this is not indicative of hemmorhoids alone. Also, 10 years between colonsocopy is not the recommended time frame. You may have developed a polyp during the last year. You may have bleeding ulcers or other lower GI problems that are causing the back pain and bleeding. The bleeding and description of stool indicates more then just hemmorhoids and should indeed be checked. Irritable Bowel Syndrome can cause some of these symptoms but Chrons Diease can also.
