This could be serious in nature and be indications of various digestive problems. It could be many conditons affecting the lower or upper GI tract. Most likely the stomach or lower GI. I urge you to see a specialist asap on this as the bleeding is a sign of concern. A GI specialist is the person you need to see to diagnose your conditon. The back pain is of concern also. Please see a doctor in the area of Gastro Intestinal disorders check you soon. If I may be of further assistance please let me know.

Reply to 4ren6's Post: I just had a colonoscopy last year and got an all clear report, so I don't have to return for 10 yrs. I don't think its colon cancer. I figured the bleeding was from my hemmorhoids. The pressure I speak of is the same as when you have a UTI, only its in the rectum. ??????

Ok, now that you mention the colonoscopy that will indeed change things. You may very well have bleeding hemmorhoids. But the back pain associated with this is not indicative of hemmorhoids alone. Also, 10 years between colonsocopy is not the recommended time frame. You may have developed a polyp during the last year. You may have bleeding ulcers or other lower GI problems that are causing the back pain and bleeding. The bleeding and description of stool indicates more then just hemmorhoids and should indeed be checked. Irritable Bowel Syndrome can cause some of these symptoms but Chrons Diease can also. Let me know if you need further assistance as I stand by my request to see a GI specialist.
