Having digestive problems. Will have several days of constipation and hard stools. Then will have two days of diarhea. Cycle then repeats. Have a slight pain/discomfort three-four inches above belly button.

That is a very common occurence. It's not indicative of any pathology. What it really says is that you need to significantly increase the amount of fiber in your diet. Fruits like citrus (particularly grapefruit) are a good source of fiber, as are vegetables. One thing that you can do that might be very helpful is Fibercon 2 tablets per day with 8-16 oz water. Lots of water is absorbed in the colon and that's part of the reason for the hard stools. Fibercon (or the equivalent) and increasing water intake will probably do the trick. Let me know how it works out (no pun intended).
