I HAVE HAD SEVERE DIARRHEA EVERY DAY SINCE APRIL WHEN I HAD MY GALLBLADDER OUT. IT IS 10-12 TIMES A DAY AND ALSO EVERYTIME I EAT NOT EVEN 5 MINUTES LATER WITH SERIOUS STOMACH PAIN. SOMETIMES BLOODY MOST TIMES PRETTY MUCOUSY. IMMODIUM NO HELP. WHATS WRONG. HAVE ALSO LOST 50+ POUNDS SINCE IT STARTED

i did the colonoscopy 2 years ago and it was fine. and i did the barium thing like a year and a half ago and it was fine too. but i drank the barium. can the diseases suddenly appear like since the last testor are you born with them? i know my doc has done a chem 7 does that include iron levels?

This test can be used to evaluate kidney function, blood acid/base balance, and your levels of blood sugar, and electrolytes. Depending on which lab you use, a CHEM-7 may also check your levels of calcium. It doesn't check for anemia.

What other tests have been performed? How long has this been going on? I am going to open this question up to other experts to see if anyone else has any other ideas.

this has been going on for 6.5 months. he has done a stool to check for malabsorbtion and ot was negative. the other thing is my liver counts have remained high even after i had the gallbladder out.
