The allergy Doctor said it sound like she has so much histomine in her body it is causing childhood migranes. Can you please give me your opinion as I am very worried about her.

Thanks Macy. Sorry I should have mentioned that I brought her to an eye Doctor, he did not dilate her eye, but looked in with the light and said it sounds like migrane, which could have been brough on by singulair. So to rule it out I stopped singulair for the past few days. My obvious worry is something more sinister. By instinct is that it is something monor but I am up the wall with worry. What should I do next

I know it is hard not to worry.

When the optic nerve spasms it does cause the migraines.

Go ahead and leave her off the singulair then and don't mention her eyes at all.

In fact just sorta ignore it ( I know this seems anti- motherly) but sometimes when kids start dwelling on something it won't go away until we ignore it because they like the attention of having us worry over them.

Watch her as she is doing things and see if you notice her looking at things strange.

If she mentions it again tell her that TV/computer can make it worse and she won't be able to do those things for a while to give her eyes a rest.

If all else fails you can have her seen by a pediatric eye specialist ( Do you have a childrens's hospital close?)

Good Luck,
Macy
