Vaginal bleeding in an eight year old child

Sent to Health Experts August 23 06:42 PM

My daughter is eight, only 53 pounds, with no breast development. She has started having vaginal bleeding and the doctor says it is not her period because she is not developed and is going to refer me to a Gyno. Until then, i am extremely worried at what this might be. It is bright red blood, when she wipes, two or three times a day and seems to be getting a little bit worse, she had some on her panties today. Please tell me what this might be.
