i have been on methadone for 5 years and cronicly impacted. i have bowl movements once a month.and maybey one small non sufficiant one a week. i also have hep c and am getting really sick with the impaction. i know i have to be really toxic by now, i had wierd gases coming up from my stomich the last two days till i threw up. and i think i either am having my itestins backing up into my stomich, or im not digesting anything cause there isnt any room left to put it. i tryed all types of laxitives, and nothing works. fiber, stool sofeners, saline, enimas. the enimas work a little, but only brings out like maby 6 ounces and then stops working. i look like im 6 months pregnant at this point and am affraid to eat. i am at this moment trying to use epspom salt and water enima, im waiting but its been in there for 15 minutes and not coming out. what should i do. and if you say go to the emergency room, i have done that in the past, and the doctor said i need to go home and drink water and take something,instead of giving me an ex ray. i think its cause i dont have insurance.i told him its been a few months since i cleared myself out, and hadnt went since but was discharged without any help. that was months ago and i have been struggleing to stay unimpacted,or clean that out, but it just gets worse as i cant get it out faster than it goes in. i dont know what to do and feel im getting really sick now. someone said the term going septic, what does that mean.
