HELP

Sent to Health Experts August 24, 2005 3:52 p.m.

I have a pain in my left side rib cage. It started in the bottom of my rib cage in the front. It only hurts when I breath and twist. Which I find necessary to live. This has been going on for a little over a year and a half. It has recently moved from the bottom of my rib cage to the entire rib cage and feels like it is pushing into my back bone. Still deep breaths and coughing almost send me to my knees. New too, is the fact that now most mornings I feel like I need to throw-up. I have gone to the doctor twice in the past year and have had blood work and a CT scan done of my organs, but they didn't look at my lungs, which just baffled me because I have been a smoker for 25 years and made that perfectly clear. I don't have another doctor and since my blood work and ct scan looked fine my doctor is done with me. I should feel better and not have pain anymore. I have never asked for pain pills, because the pain isn't so bad that I can't function (unless I breath deep or cough). I go to work every day, I have a hard time sleeping at night and take tylenol PM's. Should I be worried that it seems to be getting worse? What type of doctor should I see. When I told my doctor I needed copies of the work that has been done and asked what type of doctor she recommended I see next, she had no clue. Neither do I. I'm not weathly and I can't afford to keep having all these test done. HELP!!!
