I have had painful urination for 1.5 years, i finally had a cystoscopy, 1 week ago. My urologist remeved a polyp as well as dialated my urethra. I am still in A LOT of pain with urination and for a while after. My doctor did not biopsy the polyp. I am still concerned that there is something else wrong he said my pain should have only lasted a couple days. What should I do next, should I go to a different doctor or should I demand a urine analysis to check for cancer? I am a 26 year old female.
