Question

Should I see a doctor for an x-ray

Sent to Health Experts September 13, 2005 10:23 a.m.

After hiking for a few hours in the woods my friends and I started drinking. I had enough to catch a buzz, but was not drunk. After 5 beers I stepped on my foot wrong. It felted like I pulled a muscle on the left side of my foot. I immediately laid down and chilled for 1/2 hour. I managed to get inside to my bed. I knew something happened to my foot. It was a sharp pain trying to stand on it. I called into work the following day. This happened on Sept 7, so it's been 1 week. I've managed to get to work, but I've been walking slow. My speed increases everyday. The pain is barely there anymore, but I can still feel some discomfort in my foot. Should I see a doctor and get it X-rayed?? I was thinking my foot was really brused. If I thought it was serious enough I would have gone to the doctor in the beginning. I don't have health insurance. What's your opinion?
